Jack:

I have to go thru several stages prior to working on or fixing a boatanchor:
1. Toss the junk/trash piled in front of the workshop door out of the way
so I can get into my workshop.
2. Figure out which of the three workbenches buried under household,
garden or ham treasures (junk) I'll use.
3. Then hope I find a clear space on that workbench after I throw away all
the broken, bent, or ruined junk I've thrown on it.
4. Clear a path to the nearest power outlet.
5. Since I'm getting older, I then have to wonder why I did all of the
above work and which boatanchor I decided to work on.
6. After remembering what I'm going to work on or fix I have to dig my way
down to the test equipment and the tools I'll need.
7. With luck some of the test equipment will be stacked on a shelf. Where
did I last hide the stepladder?
8. Now I have to find all of the cables, adapters, and connectors I'll
need to be able to run the preliminary smoke test.
9. Now where did I put that fire extinguisher after the last smoke test.
10. Aw to heck with it! The Rice Box still works ok. I'll have time to work
on it next weekend.

Great to see your still alive and kicking up a fuss. Have a great holiday
season.

Before getting to the test equipment repair, I have to clear off the work
bench first!
