[Boatanchors] OT: Whole-house bucking/regulation

Thanks to everyone who replied. Sounds like this is just impractical to
solve myself.  I have some 130V lights, they work better, but still burn
out. I suspect that along with the high voltage, there are also spikes. Not
sure what the cause could be (maybe my 120V 2-wire well pump cycling?).
Thanks for all the suggestions. Looks like I will have to wait 10 years for
con ed to even return a phone call!

You can buy constant voltage transformers that will handle your entire house
but they will not come cheap and the shipping charges will kill you!  Better
to buy a smaller unit that will handle the expected load of your shack.
