[Boatanchors] Some Shaking Going On??

    I wouldn't go making fun of this one.  Yes, it was only M5.8 but it was
just 6.0km deep.  The Christchurch NZ quake was in the M6's and was also
shallow.  Shallow quakes of this magnitude can do quite a bit of damage.

    It only happened about 3.5 hours ago, so it's a bit eartly to fully
assess the damage.  I heard on the radio about a half hour ago that the
National Cathedral in Washington was damaged, supposedly the middle spire is
leaning and the other two toppled.  But, no national TV network is covering
this at all right now.  It would interfere with the soaps and game shows.
I'll have to wait for the 1600 local early evening news.
