Hi Lynn - You already identified it. It's an RCE. I have one that I
picked up about 10 years ago. It is a nice radio and works well. It is
not an HRO Jr. as it does not have plug-in could. It's one of many
National moving catacomb coil receivers. Cosmetically, it's similar to a
NC-101 and the NC-100 Art Deco receivers.
If I remember correctly, these were built for the FAA and used in
airport control towers.
I used mine last winter for NDB DXing down in the 200-400 kc band.
