I am thinking the film chains used vidicons in the
camera section.

The film chains were interesting systems, generally
two 16-mm film projections and a 35mm slide projector.

The slide projector system was also a double system,
generally two drums for the slides and an alternating
mirror so back to back slides could be aired without
the typical blank screen between slides.

So many years ago!
