You can sell 2A3's for far more than 6B4's. In the meantime just use triode 
connected 6L6's, metal are fine.

You can also use AB1 6L6's with NFB and get the same low distortion as 2A3's 
and lose the poor frequency response of the average ham level driver 
transformer.
