I have a Heathkit DX-35 that is excess to my needs. I will sell it or part it
out depending on the response I get from this post.

This transmitter has been modified significantly. There is a non-original power
transformer mounted above the chassis and there are two large oil filled
capacitors in place of the normal electrolytics. Both the audio tubes and
sockets have been removed and the tube rectifier has been replaced with solid
state diodes that are mounted on a pc board under the chassis.

The new power supply provides somewhere around 435-450 VDC. It puts out about
about 22 Watts on 40 meters with 120 mA of plate current (I have not checked the
meter accuracy). 40 meters is the only band I tested it on.

The cabinet is straight but needs painting. Someone added a fuse holder on the
rear apron of the chassis which required some trimming of the back of the
cabinet for clearance.

The front panel is in good shape except for a small hole (#6 or 8) in the top
right corner under the word Heathkit. A toggle switch for turning the plate
voltage on has been added to the left of the pilot lamp.

The meter is in good condition and not noisy.

I'll take $30 for it as is or I'll part it out if there are enough requests for
parts.

Pictures available on request.
