[Boatanchors] NC270 Muting

Bob,

This receiver works the other way around.  When the RECEIVE-STANDBY 
switch on the 270 is in the STANDBY position, there is a switch closure 
across the relay contacts to activate external stuff like the 
transmitter and TR relay.  See page 17 of the manual on BAMA:
