[Boatanchors] Riveting in Collins radios

My S-line+62S-1+312B gets moved for repair, shack maintenance,
alignment....etc.......
The "Rats nest" is bad enough without worrying about attaching the receiver
input to the 32S output.....

If I pull out one radio you can be darn sure that at least one of the #%$@
phono plugs will fall out...then out comes the mirror, flashlight
and the fumbling begins......
Attaching the PTT plug to the anti-vox socket is a nuisance..connecting the
RF out to anything is a disaster

When properly installed, the RCA is actually a better r.f. connector than
the UHF SO-239 and is just as good as the BNC. The only thing is that the
RCA cannot handle as much power as the SO-239. However, it can definitely
handle well over 100 watts all the way up to at least 1296 MHz.

On my 32S-3 I replaced the RF OUT and RCVR connectors with an SO-239 and BNC
respectively.
