Hi Dick - If the knobs have dust on them, than blow them off with 
compressed air. If they have grime which is more likely than dust after 
60 years than remove the knobs and soak them in warm soapy water (dish 
soap) and than use a stiff brush or toothbrush. It may take off the 
white or red indicator line but that is very easy to repaint.

No suggestions for the cabinet.

I also have an SR-75 but have never done anything with it. It was given 
to me about 15 years ago.
