Dave, 

The Geloso G222-TR transmitter modulates a single 6146 RF output stage with
a pair of 807's.

I recently bought a pair of brand new EL34's  (made in Slovakia and AFAIK
they're reliable) for my Apache for $20 at a hamfest, and a pair, depending
on the manufacturer, as sold by several vendors on the Internet goes between
$22 and around $40.
