[Boatanchors] ARRL "QST Archives"

Rod:
Going thru the process you mention does indeed bring you 112 possible pages
of archives, but still not directly to a search of the QST article archives.
I have no axe to grind with ARRL/QST but frankly their web site is AWFUL,
and people (especially dues-paying League members) need to tell them so.
If I want to search for an archived QST article, it should be right there!
It used to be (on the old ARRL format), but it is a mystery & disaster on
the new one. I was careful not to use the term "sucks"...oops, I slipped.
ARRL is still patting themselves on the backs for the new web format, but it
is not user friendly at all.
If, as you say, you punch in "archives" the first thing that ought to come
up is some search vehicle for old QST articles, not 9+ pages of mumbo jumbo
that the user has to sort thru. It's terrible!
Rod, BTW I have no axe to grind with you either, forgive me if I sound that
way. But if you pick a QST article title or author, and plug it in the
arrl.org search engine, I can almost guarantee you that it will NOT find the
article you're looking for!
Good luck and 73

Welp,
Had never tried it, but just did, was fairly simple. Just log in, up in
the upper right put in "archives" in search engine, and it will direct you
to all sorts of paths to take from periodicals to lab test, and product
reviews.
