Might that be the Spy Museum in Washington?
I've been there and it is very interesting. It is a private museum and they
do charge admission, but it was worth every penny!

At the last Raleigh hamfest there was a real Enigma machine on display under
glass. The organization that displayed it was from the Washington DC area
and had a museum there called the National Cryptographic museum or something
similar. That's your best bet but you have to hunt down the organization
down. The handout brochure showed a newish building on the front with
directions and phone number in the DC area. I wish I could remember the
exact name but it escapes me just now.
Please pick me up some copies of the Diana crypto system for my little
AN/GRC-9 while your there!
