[Boatanchors] Toshiba RP-2000F Receiver

I was given a Toshiba RP-2000F receiver in what seems to be very nice 
condition.  I have a question about it which maybe some one this list 
can answer.  The FM band covers only 79-90 MHz.  What part of the world 
was this radio designed for?
