maybe you can put on a leather glove, the type that has cotton lining inside
and pull the hot one with that--be ready to plug it in to the tube tester
right away and you won't handle it very long.
I'd be afraid I'd grip it too tight with the tong and break it.
I got the glove idea from wearing leather work gloves to pull a hot oil
filter that was right under an exhaust manifold and I didn't want to get
burned by the manifold.
