[Boatanchors] SCR-274N in B-25

How so? The radios are in the compartment just behind the bomb bay tunnel; neither pic shows radios IN the tunnel itself. Having radios mounted in the tunnel would preclude passing thru the tunnel to get from the front to the rear of the aircraft.
IIRC (and I'm very possibly wrong) the B25 A/B/C had the radio operator's position right behind the pilot, as the space just behind the bomb bay was occupied by a gun turret in those models; additionally, the A and B models had a retractable ventral turret. I couldn't find an online pic of the interior of the early model B-25s.
The D/E/F/G/H/J models had the turret just behind the pilot.
Obviously these pictures are the factory configuration. No doubt the BC-375s were gleefully ripped out and tossed overboard whenever command sets became available - perhaps later in the war, or postwar?

All of which confirms my earlier statement that the command sets lived in
the access tunnel over the bomb bay.
