>From somone who recentely visted the station:

I just visited the ARRL Headquarters a few weeks back and the rigs you are 
speaking of are in the old (remodeled) building and have been used on 
occasion. I talked to Joseph Carcia, NJ1Q, who is the station  manager, 
about the equipment that is in an old roll top desk (see pictures below that 
we took). If you want more information, give him a call at 860-594-0208. 
There was a question about them being operational at this time. They have 
been in the past. I was pleasantly surprised to see them.
