[Boatanchors] TMC History

     I can find very little history of Technical Materiels 
Company on the web. There is some there but not much. One 
source states the company was founded in 1935 but I can find 
no sign of its existence before about 1950. I wonder if 
anyone has definite knowledge. Certainly TMC was a great 
contributor of boatanchor equipment much of which has 
remained highly desirable.
     One source speculates there were former Hammarlund 
engineers involved and I wonder about former Press-Wireless 
people. Can anyone satisfy my curiousity, even a little?
