This an instance of NOT knowing Michael's situation.
He is a 100% disabled Veteran! A large part of this is indeed MENTAL,
*NOT* of his choosing. The remainder is PHYSICAL.
Having more than one psychiatrist is simply the provision of the
Veteran's Administration Medical Center that serves HIS needs. It is
along the lines of U.S. Military Medical Care. You go to the "clinic"
that YOUR medical issue is handled by, and you GET the *grab bag*
methodology of Doctor Assignment.
I "explain" this for those that have never dealt with a Government
Bureaucracy providing them services.
Anyone with Military service under their belt will remember this from
their time in service. It is NOT associated with ANY amount of money!
It is a simple matter of how such things work. It is actually VERY
frustrating to make return visits to the same facility, for the same
problem, and having to repeat EVERYTHING every TIME!
