What Al said!    I've had two... no make that three, over the years only needed 
new caps and a couple of tubes.  Used one for a few winters as my bedside radio 
(i confess to using SS at the bedside during the hot summer months)  I really 
liked it  I used to call then my "Superpro-Light"
