[Boatanchors] ARC-5 on Wikipedia

Bruce,

I am not aware of Michael's qualifications specific
to the ARC-5 System but even so, in being critical
of the Wikipedia page, his comment would have far
more credibility if he pointed out one error in
the ARC-5 page. I do read all of his posts and
know that he is quite a knowledgeable individual,
and my point wasn't mean to detract from his
technical qualifications.

That is why I asked the two questions that I
did. I find that there are those critical of the
accurary of Wikipedia and other sites, but when asked
to provide links to those sections with the error, I
only hear a stoney silence.

I can understand perhaps not agreeing with the format
of a particular Wikipedia page, as the ARC-5 page
specifially, but format is subjective. Is any of the
detail on the components at issue? Any of the data wrong?
But it is a "terrible entry?" Why? I don't know, but the
page seems to be satisfactory to me, but then again, I
don't know enough to be critical.

I don't know, but if someone with the knowledge of the
subject says something is wrong, but doesn't specify
what is wrong, I wonder how accurate is the criticism.

Please understand I only ask this as a way to further
the accuracy of the information posted, not as a
personal dig to anyone here or posting to the
Wikipedia experience.

Thanks for the note,

73
Sheldon
