Okay, right now - right this second - add me to your ignore list. Anyone
else bothered by what I send *ever* is invited to do the same or observe the
mistletoe attached to my shirt tail. I truly don't care which.
Now ... Yes, the thread has gotten a little weird at times but if you
actually think about it, there has been real knowledge passed. Apparently
you and a few others are too narrow minded to see it. You would much rather
whine like little children than do something constructive like start a new
thread. You clearly haven't learned yet that old threads die a lot more
quickly when that happens, especially if it's an interesting thread.
However, this one has pretty much run its course and all you've accomplished
is to make you and a couple others look like fools.
The fact that this one lasted as long as it did had nothing to do with
hijacking the list but had everything to do with no one else having anything
interesting to discuss that lasted long. Example: The recent thread on the
Bird Termaline is of absolutely no direct interest to me. None whatsoever.
But, like so many others of no direct interest, I read it anyway because
buried in it could be a buried nugget (which, in fact, there was) to add to
my knowledge base. It was short because it was apparently resolved to
everyone's satisfaction, not because of the screw thread overpowering it.
If you're going to point a finger, and obviously you are, then do so looking
in a mirror because YOU are the cause by not having anything else to
contribute to the list in general. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Rather than
whining, start a thread that will be of general interest to everyone. You
can do that, right? You're great and wonderful and can sit in judgment of
others so starting a really fantastic thread should be a cakewalk.
In the meantime, put me on ignore NOW.
