[Boatanchors] HQ-129X Modifications RF & Mixer

I did a RF amp & mixer mod to one of my HQ-129X sets 20-30 years ago, maybe the same one? I was told it was a great mod but I was never able to discern much difference afterwards and returned it to stock configuration.
