There are also the finger (sometimes specifying *which* finger), four
fingers, thumb, seabag (full usually), zillion, gazillion, and the ever
popular "Oh, my freakin' gawd, where'd they all come from?". There are
more, I'm sure.

When I was at Pay In Advance ... er, Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics,
there was a student there who wasn't too swift on reading a 6" steel rule
but he could count the "big lines, medium sized lines, little lines and
little bitty lines" pretty well. The instructors and other students weren't
able to teach him what they meant and he dropped out.
