If you care little about accurate general coverage dial accuracy, set the
general coverage pointer in the center circle of the ham band of
interest, and then just calibrate the ham band dial. Of course, a micro
touch of the general coverage knob will probably throw it off. The 100
KHz calibrator can also help here for "pinpoint" accuracy on the ham
bands. If the interest was only in the ham bands and accurate dial
calibration, a ham band receiver probably would have been a better
choice.
