Morning Ken!!

   Easiest way to do that is to use a octal tube base that has pins 2, 5 and 8 
and put 1N4007 diodes in there.  I've been doing that for years.  If you need 
more current capability, then use some 3 amp diodes rated at 1000VDC.   That's 
what you'll have if you get some potted equivalents for the rectifiers you 
mentioned.  Put some silicone in the hole to insulate the diode and you are 
there!!
