Just use one 2 KC filter, and vary the carrier (or BFO) frequency to select USB or LSB passband. Many amateur grade radios do it this way. It's somewhat rare to have separate USB and LSB filters. Drake is one, as I recall, that uses separate filters

Good day gentlemen,
Does anyone have a couple of SSB filters (USB and LSB) that they would consider swapping for something that I have surplus.
The pilot frequency is not important, I can arrange the pilot oscillator to suit.
I have a range of goodies that would probably be more use to someone else and I will be happy to pay postage. The current cost of new filters and availability in the UK is outside of belief. I am looking at building an HF driver that will give me ssb, cw, am, selectable. The filters will be most welcome from a scrap instrument and not necessarily new. The frequency determining components will be based on a synthesizer chip.
If anyone has anything please mail me direct not on the reflector.
All good wishes,
Clive GW3WEQ North Wales Coast UK
