[Boatanchors] Crystal Oscillator Circuit Info Needed

I have done well with 100kHz xtals using a simple Pierce oscillator, using
any
common small pentode (6AU6, 6BA6, etc). These are specimen component
values, adjust to taste:
  - 100k resistor from screen to B+
  - 200pF from screen to ground
  - xtal from screen to g1
  - 470k from g1 to ground
  - 47k plate resistor to B+
  - bypassed cathode resistor if you want (470ohms or whatever)

Add capacitance from g1 to ground to make up the load capacitance that the
xtal wants to see (try 30pF to start with).

The XCU circuit on Bama looks unnecessarily complicated to me, and that 3pF
capacitor may be reducing the gain by too much if your crystal isn't very
active.
