[Boatanchors] A Hammarlund question

I received the following question from another collector:

"Do you know anything about a Hammarlund radio with (8) 45's in the output?
Separate chassis and power supply with two speakers, circa 1933. Looks like
a communications receiver, but in a wood console with a record changer."

I am not a Hammarlund person.

Anybody have an answer?
