There is no physical effect on humans. Sort of like second hand smoke.
The exception is when the frequency goes way up to the millimeter waves then 
the wave crests and troughs are very close together ao the intensity of the 
rf is much higher.  That's why the radar techs in the Navy can't have kids 
and the HF operators can.
Cell phones?
So far it hasn't been linked to cancer but anyone who has cooked their brain 
on a cell phone won't be missed much.

I am assuming that not many would be interested in picking up an Apache, but
