After you ran me off from the -20 it was a couple of streets/aisles away
from you that I found the 32V2 and 75A3. The seller was a poor salesman, he
had a price marked and didnt mention until we started hagglin' that he dug
out the manual, a full set of spare NIB tubes, mod and driver xfmrs,
another dial assembly, new dial scale, manual, complete final RF section.
Even then I got him down $75 from an already reasonable price just for a
bare bones TX (;-.
It was the same with the 75A3, I almost had to beat out of him that it had
the proper AM and CW filters, calibrator, FM module and 2 original manuals.
I got that down a respectable amount also.....
He had bought from the original owner only a week earlier and didnt have a
clue about the gear. They hadnt been run for something like 20 years or more
if I remember.
Its mid 90's here with mini T storms roaming the county. #1 son and family
is heading back from the ocean with edible goodies plus steaks. Ill start
the new diet tomorrow.
