It's a neat transmitter, definitely one of Halli's better
achievements. Cabinet is a bit of an oddity, but unlike the SX-115, I
think there's at least one or two other rigs (an amp comes to mind)
that used the same cabinet, so there's some hope of finding a
replacement. If you plan to rack mount it anyhow, it's no issue of
course.
Jack's HT-20 from John K4OZY drew a LOT of attention last fall at
NEAR-Fest. Had at least 3 people in line to buy it if Jack didn't show
up. He did, of course, and was the boatanchor envy of the 'fest as he
rode to his vehicle on one of the event golf carts, HT-20 in tow on
the back.
Heavy? Yes, it's definitely all there. More on par with the 32V for
weight, though it does need an external VFO like the Viking.
