Hi Drew and tnx for the idea. At the moment I'm wanting to keep it pretty much orig. altho its had a few mods and an extra hole or two. And another thing, I may have a junker coming. I'll keep your idea on file in case I run into more xformer problems...73, Bill K4JYS

Howzabout changing the centertap rectifier configuration over to a soiled-state full wave bridge? 'Twould give you twice
the voltage of the old configuration, and twice times half equals whole. Or disregard this if you are restoring the unit
to original.
