Dave,

The HF-380 I have here, I assume is same circuit, the meter is -0-,
Zero, in receive with no signal, and reads volts when PTT keyed, in Vc
position.

It goes upscale in receive if the RF Gain is turned down.

When the unit is turned on, does the meter in the voltage position, indicate

voltage or only when the transmitter is keyed?
