Very poor mans radio. Drifts, mechanically unstable, poor on 20M and up.
Looks nice and sounds good on the BCB. The SX-17 is a better radio.

Look for an SX-32 if you want a poor mans SX-28. Or find a suitable 
Hammarlund or National.
