Hi,

This thread seems to have crossed with another that has been going
around on several lists about managing your collection. I've been
getting rid of my stuff. Oh I'm keeping enough to have some fun. But I
have been re-evaluating what is and is not hoarding. I have schtuff I
have been dragging around for years..just in case ya know. Probably
somebody could actually get some use from that schtuff.

I'm making more serious moves on rolling my own gear and using that.
When I'm gone who cares if it lands in the dumpster! Meantime I'll have
some fun and stay on the air until the end. At least until I need
somebody to feed me and change my dia... never mind. Those things really
don't happen to all of us.

I have a couple of toys that I got from guys who are now SK and I'll
part with those last. But soon enough the riceboxes will *ALL* be gone
even though I'm still on the air. From here out I am going to focus on
the parts of radio that I most enjoy and abandon the rest. I'm only in
my 60s and in reasonable health so I could be enjoying the hobby for a
while yet (or might not make it outta this chair - who knows).
