Well not,
I have the RCA BTA1M, which I had to move around a few times. As I
am usually alone when the job requires it, I picked up from Harbor freight
this little gem. The wheels swivel so you can move the things, and I lay
the BTA-1M on its side and centered on the table. It also raises and
lowers so you can avoid things as you move the "Big Rig" FWIW

Subject: [Boatanchors] moving a broadcast transmitter

I have an RCA BTA1R1 that I will need to move pretty soon. Ten years ago
when I got it, a friend of mine and I merely laid it on its side at the
broadcast site, slid it up some 2x8 ramps into my Tahoe and then unloaded
into my garage similarly. Later we laid it horizontal again on a couple of 4
wheel dollies and pushed it down the sidewalk to my front door, after which
we just picked it up and carried it through the front door...all 1000+
pounds of it (the iron was removed). I won't attempt that this time as I
have some back problems and don't want any more. I can hire as many people
as required but thought there might be a hydraulic or mechanical way to
facilitate the process, specially since I won't have a bunch of people
available to help unload it.

Suggestions please.
