[Boatanchors] [Test-Equipment] TV-2

The calibration tube came out of the audiophool world as a way to dig into
the wallets.

About 2 years ago several of us in the US and Canada with Hickok 752A's
shipped 2 widely different power level tubes around to check and compare
calibration. The results were surprisingly close and many were in extremely
close agreement. The tubes were a NOS 6L6 and I believe a 6J5.

Most of us also used them to check accuracy of other testers. I also have a
I-177, TV-7C/U and Jackson 648S that I had overhauled according to military
manuals and Internet data. I have 4-5 other military and civilian Hickok
design testers that are awaiting their turn.
