Reminds me of when I won a couple of ski area tickets including bus transportation in a radio station contest a good number of years ago.  At the end of the day of winter fun, all on the trip re-convened on the bus.  The radio station representative wanted to make an announcement to all on the bus, and so he grabbed the bus' PA system/VHF radio microphone.  He in vain shouted into the microphone, no sound.  I being seated nearby, told him to use the mic's PTT button.  I was met with a blank stare.  I had to explain to this radio station announcer/newscaster what a PTT button was!

I don't make this stuff up...
