[Boatanchors] 2 meter AM freqs?

Same problem around the metro NY area. Any 2M AM work I've done has been
below 144.3 MHz. Above that, unless you have a very selective receiver,
you will be trashed by FM activity and tons of diddle/diddles. Most
times, unless there is a VHF contest going on, SSB activity is quiet and
there is tons of room between 144.2 and 144.3 MHz to have multiple AM
QSO's. It makes no sense to walk into the fox lair above 144.3 MHz with a
chicken suit on.
