Thanks Everybody,

I was really hoping to hear from some people who have "been there - done
that" and that's just what happened. I'll get the "heavy duty" boxes and
packing materials. I think the TX-1 has some of the tubes in
spring-loaded, quarter turn shields so those should stay put. The advice
about block the knobs against the panel to protect whatever is on the
other side seems like good advice, too - the "why didn't I think of
that" kind.

I've heard hints about using Greyhound before but had no communication
with anybody who actually did it until now. The Apache is going for a
bus ride.
