Yep....Greyhound works really well for the heavy stuff.
I've used them and as Bill says, the rates are really reasonable.
Only 2 handlers touch it....going on and going off the bus.
No hubs or collection areas.
It's the way to go.

You (and others) might wish to check with Greyhound to see
what services they might offer and what they might charge.
 
Packages ride in the compartments at the bottom of the bus
and you just KNOW that it's a more gentle ride than that of
UPS or FedEx trucks and a lot less opportunity for it to get
dumped off a conveyor!

The only drawback is that they don't do door-to-door delivery.
I think their rates are quite low in comparison to the others.
