I recently acquired manuals for an Eldico T-100 and R-100.
For
those of you that don't know, a T-100 is a four channel, crystal
controlled SSB/AM/CW transmitter capable of 2.2-30 MHz operation. Its
design is virtually identical to that of an SSB-100F. The exceptions
are no VFO and four separate pi networks in the final. I have one of
these transmitters and it's the only one I have ever seen or heard of
so I was elated to obtain the correct manual.
The R-100 is a four channel, double conversion receiver with a crystal lattice filter.
I
do not have one of these receivers but I would certainly like to
acquire one to go with the T-100. I can find no references to an
Eldico R-100 on the internet. If any readers know anything about this
receiver or have ever seen or heard of one, please let me know.
From
markings on the front panel of my T-100 I know it was once used for
airport communications. I also know that it belonged to Joe Batchelor
of Central Electronics prior to finding its way to my shack.
Thanks for reading
