Hi Ian,

I don't have a definitive answer but on my 97 and 98 GM trucks the
computers are all located under the hood in die cast boxes - not in some
tin box behind the glove box like in the early days. These have
multi-port fuel injection with fuel and spark controlled by the
computer. Both have been at Field Day sites very close to HF antennae
and neither has ever had a problem. Of course being that old they still
have mechanical accelerator linkages and would be more likely to *not*
run at all than to try for earth orbit. I don't hear either one of them
in my radios.

Just as with anything else automotive.... your mileage may vary.
