I won't say it fits everything, on every BA, but the GC 9359 (5/8") fits the knurled nuts on the toggle switches -- for example -- the SX-115, HP- 651-B, Globe Scout, Globe Champ, and some other stuff I just checked it on. It's too big for the nuts on the mic and phone jacks of a KWM-2, and others, which are smaller. I don't have the 1/2" size, so don't know if that works for the smaller ones or not.
Depends ... is probably the best answer. And if your gear was made with metric parts, then all bets are probably off. $40 seems awfully expensive. I just saw the 9358 (1/2") advertised for around $16.
The 9359 appears to have been dropped from the GC catalog. I guess no one is making 1950's radios all that often anymore with real full size toggle switches ....
In keeping with the "I found my KW-1 in the old lady's barn next door in as-new condition and tied it to the hood of my truck to get it home" crowd, I found my 9359 at a fester. It was in a box marked $0.50 for any item. Should have offered a quarter :-)
