[Boatanchors] auction time linked to what timing source?

That also bring up the other issue of idiots who start right away
bidding on something that has 6 days to go instead of exercising some
restraint and letting it sleep for at least 5 days.
There are always one or two who have to start right in bidding
something up which does no one any good. I guess to some folks money
doesn't matter.
