[Boatanchors] R390 A Problem

"Suddenly the
receiver will not receive any stations on any band. But  the front panel 
control  seem to function. In other words the filter  switch does seems to 
have 
its affect  on the receiver noise, as does  the AF and RF gain controls. 
All 
the filaments I  can see are  lite."
 

Check that the BFO and PTO tubes are lit.  I would guess that the  3TF7 had 
died.  Could be a lot of other things, but that's where I'd  start.
