Richard,

Kuwait. Not only is the wall outlet and
lighting standard 240VAC, virtually all the
houses have three phase power.

Some of that is related to the air conditioning
system equipment, but even in other places
where we've had single phase split air conditioner
units, the apartments were three phase.
