Normally I would agree Ray. It is just that the "tree rats" chewed into
the coax!

I put the antenna analyzer on the inside end, and cannot find a single
resonant spot that is legal to operate!

35 Deg F with windchill at 25 Deg F.

** Thats when I start getting interested in antenna work. I was all over the
various towers this past month or so.
Even ran out a 2 wire reversible 1000' Beverage yesterday and got back in
the house at dusk an hour after the storm started. With 24" + forecast I at
least wanted it somewhat in place and hanging on branches, put the ground
rods with leads in earlier. Now its just a matter of installing a bunch of
electric fence insulators and put on the transformer boxes.

Hell, I can't even get the RG-213 to unbend, can't go without freezing
long enougn to get the mast down, Ah hell - You get the picture!

** CATV RG-11 foam or LMR doesnt do that.
It will be 35 later this week and I'll be at 180' again
