John,
All things considered......................it's the mac&cheese and stewed tomatoes that rings my bell. Are these still single dishes???? Or is there a blend between the two??? My 32V-2 and other BA's keep things warm enuf, but those tasty dishes somehow seem appropriate as snow falls, temps drop, and even us Floridians are nearly out of our shorts for this latest cold wx.
Keep warm, everyone. 55deg high here today. Back to 70+ by Friday.

Hi John,
It's OK to come visit me now. Would it be possible for you to bring your John
eere too? I promise you a good work out, here in southern NJ. Sherry made Mac
Cheese for tonight with stewed tomatoes.

just made sure that there will not be appreciable snow in Burke, VA this
inter. Went out and bought a 30 inch John Deere snow thrower. It wouldn't
are! It will probably become very expensive insurance like the 20KW Cummins
enerator I got a couple of years ago. We have not had anything more than
uicance power outages since, most times not even long enough for the plant to
tart up. BTW, I did pick up a couple of new snow shovels for the nuisance
lurries.
73 and stay warm,
John, W4AWM

eck,
had a choice of simply taking my next, (read retirement), duty station.
ncle Sam chose, (I'm trying to remember which of the two it was - 26
s back!), either Ft. Sill, OK, or Ft. Bliss, TX.
had tutored a WO-4 from personnel through a college class, at the
structor's "behest".
he WO-4 looked at my orders and asked if there was a different place
d rather go.
o I chose the Washington, D.C. Metro area. The reason being simple. I
NEW* I could find work with my education and background, in this
ographic area.
nother factor is simply that the wife, myself, and the kids prefer cool
d cold over heat.
can ALWAYS put another log on the fire, put on a heavy Turkish Robe,
bump the thermostat!
hen it gets too hot, (What did it get up to in Ca this year for a day
so?), you can only take off so much before they arrest you!
'll shovel the %$&#* SNOW!
